AnyAttach – Easily Attach Files Within iPhone/iPad EmailsMonsta'd on September 4th, 2011
Note: We've had several users tell us that installing AnyAttach messed up their device, and they had to restore. We're leaving this post up but we strongly recommend you avoid installing this teak until we learn more or are able to find and talk to the dev of AnyAttach (we currently can't).
AnyAttach is an iPhone and iPad Cydia tweak that enables you to attach files to your emails right from inside iOS' stock MobileMail app. AnyAttach comes with a file and photo/video picker that is accessible via the paper clip button that's added to the subject bar in the 'compose new mail window' when you install this tweak.
There's a similar paid Cydia tweak called PhotoMail that has been around for some time that accomplishes this, but it is a little buggy, and is limited to just photo attachments. AnyAttach is available now for $1.99 in the Cydia Store. No new icons are added to your SpringBoard and settings can be configured from your main Settings app.
UPDATE: A user in the comments below says that installing this tweak somehow messed up his iPhone. We can't confirm this but for the time being it may be a good idea to hold off on purchasing/installing this tweak.
UPDATE 2: Another user in the comments below reported that this tweak didn't play nice on their iPad 2, and they needed to immediately uninstall it. Proceed with caution!
