MobileSafariFind – A ‘Find-In-Page’ Bookmarklet For The iPhone

Monsta'd on December 31st, 2010

About a year ago, I was on a quest to find a good, reliable, "find-in-page" bookmarklet for the iPhone, or, more specifically, mobile Safari. I had been using iPuhelin's Safari+, and it was cool, but it only seemed to work 60-70% of the time, and when it did work, it was a little buggy.

I ended up stumbling upon Saturn Polly's MobileSafariFind. His bookmarklet blew Safari+'s out of the water, and I've been rocking it ever since. I can't say that it works 100% of the time, but it's pretty close... probably around 98%. If I had to find something to complain about, it's that MobileSafariFind can only be used in portrait mode and not in landscape mode, which really isn't a big deal at all.
