f.lux Comes To iOS – Reduces iPhone/iPad’s Nighttime Screen Glare
Monsta'd on October 1st, 2011f.lux, a popular screen-lighting tweak for computers, has just released a version for iOS. f.lux for iPhone and iPad will "warm up" your screen to match the ambient lighting at night, gracefully reducing your device's bright, blueish-whiteish glow.

All you'll need to do is select the type of lighting in the room you're in at night, and then forget about it, f.lux will do the rest. Research has shown that reducing the brightness of your screen's glow can help reduce eyestrain and better prepare you to fall asleep.

f.lux for iOS is available now for free in Cydia. There are no new icons added to your SpringBoard with this tweak, and f.lux settings can be configured right in your main Settings.app.

Been waiting for this forever.
Thanks for the post!
Will this app be available on the official app store?
It would be nice if it would be but it’s highly unlikely Apple will approve this. This is a tweak that tweaks a core aspect of the device — the screen, something they’ll probably never allow.
